Why Road Racing bikes?
A high-end road racing bicycle is one of the most sophisticated to build. It requires a very precise work to match all technical requirements to archive a perfect ride but at the same time to keep a low weight. The weight target of a racing bicycle is 6.8kg – according to the UCI, the international bicycle association governing road races – and the GEROS Wood bike fulfils it perfectly. The GEROS wood frame weighs only 1.7kg (small size) similar to high-end stainless steel frames. The complete bike weighs only 6.7kg (without pedals) of course all depends on the components used.
